Update from your local PCSO

Dear Resident,

One of our PCSOs from the Central Neighbourhood Policing Team has been out responding to some of the concerns you have raised.

Here is a little bit of what they have been up to:

Issuing tickets to vehicles parked in an obstructive manner along Gladstone Street. These cars are putting pedestrians at risk as they are having to step out onto the road in order to pass by.

During patrols of Occupation Park, they have been enforcing the Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) that covers the area and is in place to address anti-social behaviour. As part of this, they have confiscated open vessels of alcohol – which is in breach of the order – as well as giving words of advice and dispersing individuals from the area.

These are both issues that are continually raised to us at community meetings.

Have something you wish to discuss? Then come along to one of our community meetings, which you can find on our website.

Kind regards,
